If the layout works well, you can then purchase exactly what has proven effective in practice, and in the meantime the hire will have already spared you a full season of uncontrolled parking.

Affordable does not have to mean flimsy. The most cost-effective route to a low price is a used rack from our rental fleet: inspected, straight and complete, with signs of use but no defects. If you would prefer to buy new at a competitive price, quantity is the main factor: the more sections you order, the lower the cost per unit. It therefore makes sense to order everything you will need for the coming years in one go, rather than purchasing a small amount each year. Be cautious with racks purchased on price alone. Thin steel rusts through, and racks that cannot be coupled together will shift apart as soon as it gets busy. • does the rack need to be relocatable or expandable at a later stage
