A sporty gravel ride through the Drunen region, for which we provided stable temporary bicycle parking spaces for all participants.
The event
The Gravel Ride Drunen was a one-day cycling event that started in Drunen/Vlijmen and took participants along a varied and challenging gravel route through the Brabant countryside. With distances of 40, 60, 80 and 100 kilometres, there was a suitable course for both novice off-road cyclists and experienced mountain bikers and gravel riders.
Our solution
We provided an on-site organised and secure bicycle parking facility, tailored to the various start times and visitor flows. Thanks to the controlled setup and active supervision, participants were able to leave their bicycles with complete peace of mind.
The start and finish location at restaurant Honderd Bolderbos benefited visibly from this: visitors stayed on site longer after the event to chat and unwind, while their bicycles were safely parked. In this way, the bicycle parking not only contributed to safety and the smooth flow of traffic, but also to the overall experience of the event.
