On behalf of Heusden, we installed Bikehub® cycle platforms as a permanent flexible solution within the streetscape.
The project
On behalf of Gemeente Heusden, we delivered a temporary bicycle parking solution with a duration of eight months. The provision was designed to offer additional bicycle parking spaces at an urban location over an extended period, without any permanent alterations to the public space.
Our solution
At the location, 24 bicycle parking spaces were created using the Model Bikehub®. These bicycle platforms have been specially developed for placement in parking bays and are ideally suited for temporary yet long-term use. They provide a stable, well-organised and accessible bicycle facility for daily use.
We managed the complete service, including transport, installation, dismantling and coordination throughout the entire period. By keeping everything in-house, the bicycle parking solution remained reliable, functional and well-maintained for the full duration. The result was a manageable and consistently available bicycle facility that met the needs of both visitors and the municipality.
