For Paaspop in Schijndel, we managed the bicycle parking logistics every year, providing more than 8,000 spaces over the Easter weekend.
The event
Paaspop is traditionally the opening event of the Dutch festival season and is renowned as one of the best-decorated festivals in Europe. During this four-day event, more than 30,000 visitors enjoyed over 250 acts across 18 stages, complemented by extensive camping facilities. The programme ranged from rock and electronic music to urban, hip-hop and party acts.
Our solution
On behalf of Paaspop BV we delivered 16,000 bicycle parking spaces, spread across two locations and fully equipped with our Model Event®. The bicycle storage facilities were designed to handle large visitor flows and intensive use over multiple days.
We provided a complete cycle parking solution, consisting of:
- transport and logistics,
- full setup and dismantling,
- clear signage and routing,
- deployment of cycling stewards,
- and a paid (premium) supervised bicycle parking facility.
This approach provided a comfortable, safe and well-organised cycling facility, in keeping with the scale, duration and quality of the festival.
