For the Vuelta cycling tour through the Utrecht region, we provided the bicycle parking at the start locations and refreshment points with our Sport model.
The event
The Vuelta cycling tour passed through the Utrecht region. Around 3,000 recreational cyclists set off and could recharge at various refreshment points along the way. That is exactly where nobody wants to leave a road bike leaning against a fence.
Our solution
At the refreshment points along the route, we placed our modular Sport model bicycle racks. This rack is specially suited to road bikes: the bicycle hangs by its saddle over the rail and stands firmly in place, without damage to the frame or wheels.
We were also ready at the start. We placed these bicycle racks at three locations, so participants could enjoy something to eat and drink before setting off while their bicycles were parked safely. We took care of the transport and the complete assembly and dismantling.
