DeutschBicycle racks for the transition zone of Triatlon Werkendam
For the Triatlon Werkendam on 7 June 2025, we provided 300 bicycle spaces in the transition zone. The one-day triathlon had 300 participants. We used only bicycle racks of the Sport model and took care of transport, set-up and dismantling. In this way, we supplied the bicycle parking facilities for use during the event.
Model Sport in de wisselzone
The organisers chose model Sport because the racks were used at a triathlon. In the transition zone, participants leave their bikes between the different sports. The bike spaces are therefore part of the event layout and are intended for the participants’ bikes.
With model Sport, the bike hangs with its saddle over the crossbar. This makes the model suitable for use in a transition zone. For Werkendam, a total of 300 spaces were available, equal to the number of participants. The bike facilities were therefore matched to the field of participants and to how they were used during the triathlon.
Transport and set-up for race day
We transported the bicycle racks to the location and set up the facility in the transition zone. After the event, we took care of the dismantling. The work took place without any special circumstances; our assignment consisted of supplying the racks and carrying out these activities.
For an organiser, the number of participants and the use of the transition zone are key starting points when requesting bicycle racks. The available space and the times for set-up and dismantling are also part of the preparation.
